Location identifier types
Every identifier type you can give a Location, grouped by family, with the scopes you can narrow an identifier to.
A Location identifier is a code that a system or trading partner uses for one of your Locations, such as a GLN or a warehouse code. When you add one, the type list only shows the types that apply to your organisation's Integrations, so you may not see all of these. To add one, see Add a Location identifier.

Narrowing an identifier
In the Advanced section when you add or edit a Location identifier:

The Customer setting lets one Location carry a different ship-to code for each customer. On the way out, a code linked to another customer is filtered out and never sent.
When several Location identifiers apply, your organisation's own identifier beats a shared one, then an Integration-scoped one beats one that isn't, then a customer-scoped one beats one that isn't. See How Supply Lens matches codes.
