Connecting your systems
This course is for the admin who connects their business's systems to Supply Lens. Building on your master data, you will plan which Integrations you need, create and configure them, decide how and when they run, route Documents between them with Mappings, and work through a go-live checklist. By the end you will also be able to diagnose the connection and routing problems that most often stop data flowing.

Module 1
Planning your integrations
How Integrations, Mappings and Documents fit together, which systems you can connect, and how to plan your data flows before you build anything.
- How Integrations fit togetherA quick refresher on Integrations, Configurations, Mappings and Documents, and how they combine into a working data flow, before you start building. 6 min
- Choose your IntegrationsFind out which systems Supply Lens connects to, what each category is for, and what to do when your system isn't listed. 5 min
- Plan your data flowsTurn "connect our systems" into a concrete list of Integrations, Configurations and Mappings, and plan how you will test before going live. 8 min

Module 2
Creating and configuring an Integration
Connect a system, understand every card on the Integration tile, and add Configurations for the document types it should send and receive.
- Create an IntegrationConnect a system to Supply Lens, gather the credentials it needs beforehand, and know what to expect from the connection form. 6 min
- The Integration tileEvery Integration has a tile of cards that control whether it runs, how it runs and what it handles. Learn what each card does and which ones you'll use most. 7 min
- Add ConfigurationsSwitch on each document type an Integration should handle, in the right direction, and get comfortable with the settings editor. 7 min
- Worked example: Hilltop connects its 3PLFollow Hilltop from an empty Integration to a configured, tested connection to its 3PL, pulling together everything in this module. 7 min

Module 3
Schedules and manual runs
Decide how each Integration runs, set up schedules, and run an Integration on demand.
- How Integrations runData moves when an Integration runs. Learn the three things that make it run (schedules, webhooks and manual runs), what send and receive do, and how Mappings decide what happens next. 6 min
- Configure a schedulePut an Integration on a regular schedule, choose a sensible interval, and use jobs, cron expressions and time zones when you need more control. 7 min
- Run an Integration manuallyTrigger an Integration on demand with Run send and receive, Run receive or Run send, and know when each one is the right choice. 5 min

Module 4
SKU alignment and go-live readiness
Make sure every system agrees on product codes, cross-reference the ones that can't, and work through a go-live checklist.
- Why SKU alignment mattersA mismatch between how two systems name the same product is the single most common cause of integration errors and go-live delays. Learn what alignment means and how Supply Lens matches products. 5 min
- Check your SKU alignmentCompare product codes across your storefront and ERP, spot the common format mismatches, and choose between standardising and cross-referencing. 7 min
- Cross-reference partner codesWhen EDI partners and marketplaces use their own product codes, build a cross-reference table and get it into Supply Lens before go-live. 6 min
- The go-live checklistA complete checklist for switching an Integration on, covering SKUs, master data, Configurations, Mappings, schedules, testing and the first week live. 8 min

Module 5
Mappings in practice
Create the Mappings that join your Integrations into working data flows, filter them, and see them as diagrams.
- What a Mapping doesA Mapping tells Supply Lens where to send a Document once it has arrived. Learn each Mapping field, the two behaviour switches, and when to produce Target Data or a Document. 7 min
- Create a MappingCreate a Mapping record, set its core fields, and use the matching, target and miscellaneous settings to control exactly when it runs. 7 min
- Common Mapping patternsThe handful of Mapping patterns that cover most businesses, how to send one Document to several places, and how to split a flow by customer or Location. 7 min
- Visualise and manage MappingsSee your Mappings as a diagram, trace a document type through every step, and use bulk tools to add, clone, update and migrate Mappings. 6 min

Module 6
Troubleshooting connections
Diagnose connection and authentication failures, Documents that don't reach their target, and product errors after go-live.
- Connection and authentication failuresWhen an Integration stops connecting, it's usually credentials. Learn the checks to make, in order, and what to send Support if they don't solve it. 6 min
- A Document isn't reaching its targetWhen a Document arrives in Supply Lens but never appears in the system it should go to, work along the flow from the Document's status to the target Integration. 7 min
- Product errors after go-liveThe product does not exist error is the most common failure once Integrations are live. Learn to resolve a batch of them quickly, and to stop them coming back. 6 min
