Where the Routing Switches, Modules and Module Groups pages live, and how to reach the routing of one integration type.
The routing and module screens are spread over two places in the Administration menu. This lesson shows you both, so that you can go straight to the right one when something needs changing.
The Routing section
- In the menu on the left, open Administration.
- Open Routing. Three items show.

These three pages are about the platform as a whole. They aren't about one integration type.
The routing of one integration type
Day to day, you'll usually work on one integration type at a time. Its routing and module routes live on its own page:
- Open Administration → Integrations → Integration Types.
- Select the integration type.
The integration type page has three tabs:
- Details: the name, description, switches, capabilities, categories and code lists.
- Routing: which service gets each message type.
- Modules: which module runs each message type.
Link straight to a tab
You can link to a tab directly. Add ?tab=routing or ?tab=modules to the end of the page address. This is useful when you write a ticket or a handover note and want a colleague to land on the right tab.
Sending a colleague to the right place
You are checking why Hilltop Coffee's SFTP partner isn't receiving files. The partner uses the Acme SFTP integration type. You open Administration → Integrations → Integration Types, select Acme SFTP, and open the Routing tab. To ask a colleague for a second opinion, you copy the page address, add ?tab=routing and paste it into the ticket. They open the link and see the same tab.
