How do I create my organisation in Supply Lens?
Set up your Organisation
Create your company's Organisation, choose a plan, and keep its details and billing up to date.
About 4 min
Your Organisation is your company's workspace in Supply Lens. Every Integration, Mapping and Document belongs to it. At the end of this guide you'll have one, on a plan, with its details filled in.
Before you start
- A Supply Lens account. See Create an account.
- Your company's name, web address, invoice address and, if you have one, VAT registration number.
- A card or Direct Debit details to pay with.
Good to know
If your company already uses Supply Lens, don't create a second Organisation. Ask a colleague to invite you instead.
Steps
Create the Organisation
- Sign in at app.supplylens.co.uk. You'll see your list of organisations.
- Choose to create a new organisation.
- Enter its name, web address and invoice address. You can also enter your VAT registration number; the correct country prefix is shown for UK and EU addresses.
- Add a payment method.
- Choose a plan.
Check your details
- Open your new Organisation from the list.
- Go to Settings → Organisation.
- Check your trading names, notification emails and address. Point the notification emails at people who will act on what they receive.
Admins and the primary owner can edit these details.
Check it worked
- Your Organisation appears in your list of organisations, with its subscription status, and you can open it.
- The browser tab title shows your Organisation's name once you're inside it.
If something goes wrong
- A banner says your subscription has expired. Opening the Organisation takes you to billing. Add a payment method or choose a plan under Settings → Organisation → Billing.
- You need to change your card, plan or VAT number, or download an invoice. All of these are under Settings → Organisation → Billing.
- An older guide says to use the PEPPOL menu. That was the old route. Create organisations straight from your list of organisations.
