How do I add Enterpryze?

Add Enterpryze

Connect Enterpryze with its API username and password, choose your Business Partner strategy, add Configurations and Mappings, and prove it with a test order.

About 7 min

By the end of this guide you'll have an Enterpryze Integration that creates sales orders from your storefronts and marketplaces and sends stock and despatches back, with a test order to prove it.

Before you start

  • An active Enterpryze account and a Supply Lens account.
  • Your Enterpryze API username and password. Supply Lens connects using API credentials generated from within your Enterpryze account.
  • SKUs that match. Every product SKU in your connected systems must exist in the Enterpryze Item Master in exactly the same format, including case, separators and leading zeros. Mismatched SKUs are the most common cause of errors. See Align your SKUs.
  • Your Business Partner strategy, decided per channel (see below). For B2B channels, discuss it with the Support Team before going live.
  • Enterpryze codes your settings will need, such as warehouse codes, tax codes and the card codes of any accounts orders should go to.

Choose a Business Partner strategy

Every Enterpryze sales order belongs to a Business Partner (BP). Decide which one each channel's orders go to:

StrategyHow it worksBest for
Single generic account per channelAll orders from a channel go to one BP, such as "Shopify DTC Orders"High-volume direct-to-consumer and marketplace selling (the recommended starting point)
One BP per customer (email-based)A new BP for each unique customer email; repeat customers matched automaticallyB2B or account-managed DTC
One BP per companyBPs matched or created on company nameB2B channels
Pre-existing BP with a match keyThe channel passes a BP code with each order for an exact matchEstablished B2B accounts

Steps

Create and connect the Integration

  1. Go to Settings → Integration setup → Integrations and click + ADD INTEGRATION.
  2. Click ADD on Enterpryze.
  3. Complete the form with your Enterpryze API username and password.
  4. Click CONNECT. Leave Activation disabled for now and note the Integration Id.

Add Configurations

  1. On the Enterpryze tile, click Configurations, then + Add.
  2. Choose a document type, for example Order.
  3. Click Send, Receive or both. These are from Supply Lens's point of view: orders going into Enterpryze are a send.
  4. Click Create Default JSON, then Save. On orders, setupDate is set automatically, so only orders from that date are picked up.
  5. Repeat for each type you need. A typical storefront set-up uses Order (Send), Inventory (Receive) and Shipment (Receive).

Good to know

Some directions in this table are being confirmed. Agree the directions for your flows with your implementer. Every setting is explained in Enterpryze settings.

Add Mappings

  1. Go to Settings → Integration setup → Mappings and click + ADD.
  2. Create Order from your storefront Integration, as Target Data, to Enterpryze, and click SAVE.
  3. Add the return flows: Inventory and Shipment from Enterpryze to your storefront.
  4. If your settings choose values by tag (such as the group a new BP gets), you can add Target tags on the Mapping.

Test

  1. On the Enterpryze tile, set Activation to Enabled.
  2. Create a test sales order in a connected source system, for example a test order in Shopify or WooCommerce.
  3. Use Manual Operation to run it straight away rather than waiting for the schedule.

Check it worked

  • After a few minutes, the order appears in Sales → Orders in Supply Lens.
  • In Enterpryze, the sales order exists with the correct Business Partner, line items and SKUs.
  • To test stock, change an item's stock in Enterpryze, run a receive, and check the new level shows in your storefront.

If something goes wrong

  • The order is held. A SKU couldn't be matched to the Item Master. Supply Lens holds the whole order and raises an alert rather than creating a partial order. Add or correct the item, and check it isn't frozen or marked as not a sales item.
  • Nothing flows. Check Activation is Enabled and each Configuration has the right direction.
  • It stopped connecting. The API credentials may have expired or been revoked. See Update integration credentials.
  • Still stuck? Contact support@supplylens.co.uk with the Integration ID.
