Supply Lens

How do I connect a marketplace, web shop or till system that doesn't have its own guide?

Add a marketplace or store

Connect any storefront, marketplace, wholesale portal or point-of-sale system without its own guide, from Mirakl and Etsy to Wix and Epos Now, using the same setup sequence.

About 7 min

At the end of this guide your marketplace, store or till system will be connected to Supply Lens and tested on one order. Every commerce connector is set up the same way; only the connection form and the settings differ.

Which connectors this guide covers

These have their own guides: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Cin7, eBay, Faire and HubSpot or Pipedrive. For anything else, use this guide.

Also listed, with no published settings guide yet: Louis de Poortere, Not on the High Street, Plytix, Smyths, Tesco Marketplace, TikTok Shop, Virtualstock and Yumbles. Follow the steps below and ask Support which settings matter. If your system isn't listed at all, contact Support with what you need to move, which way, and roughly how many orders a day.

Before you start

  • Credentials for the other system, such as an API key or token, from someone with admin access to it.
  • Admin access to Supply Lens, to reach Settings → Integration setup.
  • Your ERP, IMS or warehouse already connected. See Add an Integration.
  • SKUs aligned. For your own shop, aim for an exact match. For marketplaces that use their own codes, prepare cross-references. See Align your SKUs.
  • A default customer Party and a fulfilment Location, which most order Configurations ask for. See Add a Party and Add a Location.
  • The status orders are in when they're ready to fulfil in the other system.

Steps

Create and connect

  1. Go to Settings → Integration setup → Integrations.
  2. Click + ADD INTEGRATION, search for the connector and click ADD.
  3. Complete the form and click CONNECT. Keys and tokens are hidden as you type; use the show button to check them. Leave Activation disabled for now.

Add Configurations

  1. Expand the tile, click Configurations, then + Add.
  2. Pick a document type and direction (orders coming in are Receive; stock going out is Send), click Create Default JSON, then Save. Repeat for each type you need. The types in the Add configuration window are the definitive list.
  3. Set the status filters, default customer and fulfilment Location. An empty include list means everything; an exclude list always wins.
  4. Leave setupDate and lastImportDate to the system unless Support asks you to change them.

Add Mappings

  1. Go to Settings → Integration setup → Mappings and click + ADD.
  2. Create one Mapping per flow, for example Order from the marketplace to your ERP, and Inventory from your ERP to the marketplace.
  3. Set As to Target Data, tick Enabled, leave Automatic off while testing, and click SAVE.

Test

  1. Set Activation to Enabled, with no schedule.
  2. Place or wait for a test order in an included status.
  3. Click Run Receive under Manual Operation.

Check it worked

  • The expected orders appear under Sales → Orders in Supply Lens, and nothing older than your go-live date.
  • After processing, the order reaches your ERP or warehouse with the right customer, lines and totals.
  • Then set a Schedule and turn Automatic on for your Mappings.
