Set up Itsperfect
Lesson 22 of 30 5 min read
Import orders from the Itsperfect fashion platform, filtered by the warehouse they're assigned to.
Itsperfect is a platform used by fashion and lifestyle brands to run wholesale and stock. Its Supply Lens connector imports orders, and its one distinctive setting is a warehouse filter. That makes it ideal when a brand uses several warehouses and only one of them is integrated, for example a 3PL that should receive only its own orders.
By the end of this lesson you'll be able to configure Itsperfect order import with the right warehouse filter.
The settings
| includeWarehouseIds | Itsperfect warehouse IDs to include. When set, only orders assigned to these warehouses are imported. Empty means all warehouses. |
|---|---|
| excludeWarehouseIds | Warehouse IDs to skip, even if they would otherwise be imported. |
| importDelay | Wait before importing so other systems can finish changing the order. |
| disableExpectedPayableTag | Skip the total check at import. |
| setupDate / lastImportDate | Go-live cut-off and watermark, managed by the system. |
Include or exclude?
- Use include when only one or two warehouses are integrated. New warehouses added later won't start flowing by surprise.
- Use exclude when almost everything should flow and only one warehouse, such as a showroom, should be left out.
A fashion brand's new 3PL
A knitwear brand moves its EU stock to a 3PL but keeps UK stock in its own warehouse. Only EU orders should go to the 3PL through Supply Lens.
The implementer gets the EU warehouse's Itsperfect ID from the brand and puts it in
includeWarehouseIds. UK orders never enter Supply Lens. When the brand opens a pop-up store
with its own Itsperfect warehouse, nothing changes, because include lists don't pick up new
warehouses.
Recap
- Itsperfect imports orders, filtered by the warehouse they're assigned to.
- Include lists suit "only these warehouses"; exclude lists suit "everything but these".
- Exclusions always win.
- Keep the expected payable check on unless there's a clear reason.
