Business Central settings
Every setting on the Business Central Order, Purchase Order and Shipment Configurations, including the shared import window and purchase order defaults.
The Business Central connector imports orders, purchase orders and shipments from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It has three Configurations: Business Central Order, Business Central Purchase Order and Business Central Shipment.
Import window (all Configurations)
These two settings are shared by all three Configurations. The Order and Shipment Configurations have no other settings.
| Setting | What it does | Values / default | When to change it |
|---|---|---|---|
Setup date setupDate | Only documents created on or after this date are imported, so historical documents aren't pulled in at go-live. | A date. Set automatically when the Integration is first configured. | Not normally changed afterwards. |
Last import date lastImportDate | The import watermark. Each run fetches only documents modified after this time. | Date and time. Managed by the system. | Don't edit it by hand. |
Purchase order defaults
These settings are on the Business Central Purchase Order Configuration.
| Setting | What it does | Values / default | When to change it |
|---|---|---|---|
Default supplier defaultSupplier | The supplier Party used for purchase orders when the source data doesn't contain explicit supplier information. | A Party ID. | Set it when some purchase orders arrive without a supplier. |
Default fulfilment location defaultFulfilmentLocation | The Location assigned to purchase orders imported from Business Central, deciding where the purchase order is expected to be fulfilled. | A Location ID. | Set it to the warehouse that receives the goods. |
Spelling
This key is spelt defaultFulfilmentLocation (British spelling, no "Id"), unlike the
defaultFulfillmentLocationId used by most other connectors. Copy it exactly.
