How do I connect my eBay seller account to Supply Lens?
Add eBay
Connect eBay so orders reach your back office with the right customer and tax, and stock levels go back to your listings.
About 6 min
At the end of this guide your eBay account will be connected to Supply Lens, with orders flowing to your back office and stock flowing to eBay, tested on one order.
Before you start
- Access to the eBay seller account, and the details the eBay connection form asks for.
- Admin access to Supply Lens, to reach Settings → Integration setup.
- Your ERP or IMS already connected. See Add an Integration.
- SKUs aligned between your eBay listings and your item master. See Align your SKUs.
- A Party for eBay sales, such as "eBay UK", if you book them all to one customer, and a fulfilment Location. See Add a Party.
- A tax decision from your accountant: whether tax eBay collects itself (such as IOSS VAT or US state sales tax) should be left out of your orders, and what rate to use when eBay sends no tax.
Steps
Create and connect
- Go to Settings → Integration setup → Integrations.
- Click + ADD INTEGRATION, search for eBay and click ADD.
- Complete the form and click CONNECT. Leave Activation disabled for now.

- Create Order from eBay to your ERP, and Inventory from your ERP to eBay.
- Set As to Target Data, tick Enabled, leave Automatic off while testing, and click SAVE.
Test
- Set Activation to Enabled, with no schedule.
- Wait for (or place) an eBay order that still needs shipping.
- Click Run Receive under Manual Operation.
Check it worked
- The order appears under Sales → Orders in Supply Lens with the right customer, Location and tax, including the buyer's delivery address.
- After processing, it reaches your ERP. Then set a Schedule and turn Automatic on.
If something goes wrong
- No orders arrive. Only orders in
orderFulfillmentStatus(defaultNotStartedOrInProgress) are imported, and only those created on or aftersetupDate. - Orders have no tax. Turn on
calculateTaxIfNotProvidedand add a matching rate. - VAT looks overstated on EU or US orders. eBay collected that tax. Review
