Flexport settings

Every setting on the Flexport Order and Inventory Configurations, from the import window and defaults to tag generation from Flexport order data.

The Flexport connector imports orders and stock levels from Flexport. The settings are on two Configurations: Flexport Order and Flexport Inventory.

Order import window

These settings are on the Flexport Order Configuration.

Setting	What it does	Values / default	When to change it
Setup date `setupDate`	Only orders created on or after this date are imported, so historical orders aren't pulled in at go-live.	A date. Set automatically when the Integration is first configured.	Not normally changed afterwards.
Last import date `lastImportDate`	The import watermark. Each run fetches only orders modified after this time.	Date and time. Managed by the system.	Don't edit it by hand.
Import delay `importDelay`	Waits before importing an order after it arrives, so other Flexport apps (a 3PL, a fulfilment app or a pricing engine) can update it first.	A duration, for example `00:05:00` for five minutes.	Set it when another app changes orders after they're created.

Order defaults

These settings are on the Flexport Order Configuration.

Setting	What it does	Values / default	When to change it
Default currency `defaultCurrencyId`	The currency applied when a Flexport order doesn't specify one, so every imported order has a currency.	A currency.	Set it to the currency your Flexport orders are in.
Default fulfilment location `defaultFulfillmentLocationId`	The Location assigned to all imported Flexport orders.	A Location ID.	Set it to your Flexport Location. If orders need splitting by Flexport site, raise it with Supply Lens.

Order tags

These settings are on the Flexport Order Configuration. Tags created here can drive later steps, such as tag-driven rules on the system the order goes to next.

Setting	What it does	Values / default	When to change it
Document tag generation `documentLevelTagGeneration`	Rules that create tags on the imported Document from fields in the Flexport order. Each rule has a `key`, a `path` to the source field and an optional `source` controlling how values are extracted and transformed.	A list of rules.	Add a rule when a downstream step needs a value from the Flexport order as a tag.
Advanced document tag generation `documentLevelAdvancedTagGeneration`	A more powerful version that supports JSON Path and JSON Pointer expressions (two ways of writing the address of a value inside structured data), for values deep inside nested data.	A list of rules.	Use it when the field you need is nested several levels down.

Inventory

This setting is on the Flexport Inventory Configuration.

Default fulfilment location `defaultFulfillmentLocationId`	The Supply Lens Location that Flexport stock updates are assigned to.	A Location ID.	Set it to your Flexport Location.
