Manhattan settings

Every setting on the Manhattan order and shipment Configurations, covering reference types, carrier and service maps and order types.

The Manhattan connector sends orders to Manhattan and imports shipments. Its settings live on two Configurations: Manhattan Order and Manhattan Shipment. The two reference type settings appear on both, so orders and shipments can be linked.

Orders: references

These settings are on the Manhattan Order Configuration.

Setting	What it does	Values / default	When to change it
Manhattan order ID reference type `orderIdReferenceType`	The Document reference type that carries the Manhattan order ID, keeping orders traceable back to Manhattan.	A Document reference type.	Set it to match the shipment Configuration.
ERP order reference type `erpOrderReferenceType`	The Document reference type that carries the ERP's order reference.	A Document reference type.	Set it to match the shipment Configuration.

Orders: carriers and order types

These maps support a default value for when nothing matches.

Setting	What it does	Values / default	When to change it
Carrier map `carrierMap`	Translates carrier names from the source system into Manhattan carrier values. Entries are checked in order.	Map of carrier name to Manhattan carrier, with a default.	Set an entry for every carrier your orders use.
Carrier service map `carrierServiceMap`	Translates carrier service names into Manhattan carrier service codes.	Map of service name to Manhattan service code, with a default.	Set an entry for every service your orders use.
Order type by tag `tagToOrderTypeMap`	Chooses the Manhattan order type from the order's tags. The first matching tag wins.	Tag map to order type, with a default.	Give different kinds of order different order types.

Shipments

These settings are on the Manhattan Shipment Configuration.

Setting	What it does	Values / default	When to change it
Setup date `setupDate`	Only shipments created on or after this date are imported, so historical shipments aren't pulled in at go-live.	Date. Set automatically when the Integration is first configured.	Not normally changed afterwards.
Last import date `lastImportDate`	The import watermark. Each run fetches only shipments modified after it.	Date and time. Managed by the system.	Don't edit it by hand.
Import delay `importDelay`	Waits this long before importing a shipment, so other systems can change it first.	Duration, for example `00:05:00` for five minutes.	Add a delay if shipments are updated just after despatch.
Manhattan order ID reference type `orderIdReferenceType`	The Document reference type for the Manhattan order ID, used to link shipments to their original orders.	A Document reference type.	Keep it the same as on the order Configuration.
ERP order reference type `erpOrderReferenceType`	The Document reference type for the ERP order reference on imported shipments.	A Document reference type.	Keep it the same as on the order Configuration.
