Logiwa setup and flows
Lesson 13 of 28 5 min read
Connect Logiwa, a cloud WMS, and see which flows its settings cover - purchase orders in, warehouse receipts and stock back - and the master data it needs.
Logiwa is a cloud warehouse management system used by fulfilment operations. Supply Lens lists it among the 3PL and WMS platforms it has operational experience with, and it can be connected from the Integrations screen.
By the end of this lesson you will know which Logiwa flows have settings, and the identifiers to set up before you send anything.
The Logiwa flows
The Logiwa settings guide covers three Document types:
| Settings group | Direction | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Logiwa Goods Inbound | Send | Creates a purchase order in Logiwa for incoming goods |
| Logiwa Goods Inbound Receipt | Receive | Imports warehouse receipts |
| Logiwa Inventory | Receive | Imports stock levels, by depositor and warehouse |
Orders and shipments
The Logiwa settings guide has no Order or Shipment groups. If a project needs orders sent to Logiwa or despatches brought back, confirm with Supply Lens what is available before you scope it.
A word on Logiwa's terms
- In Logiwa, an inbound delivery is booked as a purchase order. In Supply Lens it is a Goods Inbound Document.
- A depositor is Logiwa's name for the client whose stock it holds, which matters when a 3PL runs many brands in one Logiwa account.
Identifiers to set up
Logiwa has more Location identifier types than any other warehouse connector:
- Logiwa Warehouse Code and Logiwa Warehouse Id
- Logiwa Inventory Site Code and Logiwa Inventory Site Id
And two Party identifier types: Logiwa Client Code and Logiwa Client ID.
Set it up
- Go to Settings → Integration setup → Integrations, click + ADD INTEGRATION and click ADD on Logiwa. Complete the connection form and click CONNECT.
- Add Configurations for Goods Inbound (Send), Goods Inbound Receipt (Receive) and Inventory (Receive), using Create Default JSON.
- Add the Logiwa identifiers your warehouse uses to your Locations and Party.
- Create the Mappings from your ERP and back.
Brightwell Supplements on Logiwa
Brightwell Supplements uses a 3PL that runs Logiwa for several brands. Brightwell's stock is held under its own depositor. Purchase orders from Brightwell's ERP go to Logiwa as Goods Inbound, and the 3PL's receipts and stock come back. The implementer collects the depositor id, warehouse id and the purchase order type the 3PL wants before configuring anything.
Recap
- Logiwa's settings cover goods inbound (as Logiwa purchase orders), receipts and inventory.
- There are no Order or Shipment groups in the guide, so confirm before scoping those flows.
- A depositor is the client whose stock Logiwa holds.
- Logiwa warehouse and inventory site identifiers go on Locations; client identifiers go on the Party.
